Rhiannon Evans
Rhiannon studied with the
School of Herbal Medicine/
Phytotherapy to gain a Certificate
in Herbal Medicine and also acted as
Tutor /Examiner post-graduation. She
joined the National Institute of
Medical Herbalists in 1989
and was awarded a Fellowship in 2007.
Her passionate interest in the healing
capacity of plants grew and developed
during her previous career in
agricultural research and development.
She started her practice
as a Medical Herbalist in Banbury
in 1989 and works also in Shipston-upon
Stour .She has extensive experience of
working with adults with learning
disabilities using massage, relaxation
and stress management techniques to
promote good health.
She regularly leads informative, and
entertaining Herb Walks and runs herbal
workshops in the surrounding area.
She chaired the management committee of
the joint initiative, Kew Gardens- based
project Ethnomedica /Remembered
Remedies for several years;
encouraging the collection and archival
of memories of home plant -use.
