Located deep within the
core of the body the Psoas muscle has a
vital role in the body’s structural
integrity. Incorrect body use, physical
injury and emotional trauma can
contribute to a tight, shortened Psoas.
Psoas Muscle Release
This in turn leads to a
variety of symptoms including stiff back
– often noticed getting out of bed –
restricted hip mobility, poor posture,
scoliosis, low energy and unexplained
anxiety or fear. Because of its location
a deep, invasive approach can re-injure,
re-traumatise it therefore, it must be
treated with respect. Incorporating
principles developed by Liz Koch
(www.coreawareness.co.uk)
it is possible to gently allow the Psoas
muscle back to a natural state of
functioning. This re-establishes
structure, stability and fluid
movement from the core.
Liz Koch's well
known and respected book 'THE PSOAS
MUSCLE' is available from Shipston
Natural Health Centre.
