For over 200 years
hypnosis has been used in medicine to
treat a wide range of physical,
psychological and emotional disorders.
In 1997 the United Kingdom Council for
Psychotherapy endorsed the term
‘hypno-psychotherapy’ as a branch of
psychotherapy which uses hypnosis. This
facilitates a state of deep relaxation
during which mental and physical tension
are reduced.
Hypno-Psychotherapy
At this profound level of
rest the process of change can begin.
Using an agreed approach, client and
therapist work together to enhance
physical, emotional and mental
well-being. Hypno-Psychotherapy can help
to reduce stress, overcome anxiety, to
manage phobias, improve performance and
to achieve freedom from addictions.
